Shobana Radhakrishnan

Shobana is Senior Director of Engineering, Google TV, focused on leading next generation TV with product and research groups across Google. Prior to this, she has held various technical leadership roles at Roku, Mindflash Technologies, Yahoo, and Netflix (Video Metadata Platforms) building high-scale consumer systems. Shobana is an active conference and keynote speaker including international conferences such as Amazon AWS Reinvent, Streaming Media Connect, QCon, Grace Hopper, and Yahoo Conferences. She has been conferred the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University and was a finalist at the Silicon Valley Best CIO Awards in 2015. Shobana has a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).
