Maru Ahues Bouza

Maru is the director of the Android DevRel at Google, a global team with a mission to help developers be more successful in the Android ecosystem. Maru earned a bachelor's degree in computer science engineering from the University Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela, where she’s originally from. Her engineering focus has always been on solving high impact technical problems to drive business success. As a Latinx executive at Google, Maru values cultivating a culture of respect and inclusivity. She lives in the Bay Area with her husband and two very active boys.
