Jeanine Banks

Jeanine is the VP and General Manager for Developer X, and Head of Developer Relations, responsible for the strategy, product portfolio, and ecosystem engagement for third party (3P) developer experiences, including tools like Angular, Dart, Firebase, Flutter, TensorFlow, Kaggle, and others. Jeanine and her team collaborate across Google to empower millions of 3P developers to build AI-enabled, digital experiences for billions of users worldwide. Before Google, Jeanine was the GM of AWS Insights & Enterprise Tools at Amazon, where she led teams serving all millions of AWS customers in managing billions in cloud spend. Previously, she also led development for Amazon EC2 Spot, fleet management and auto scaling services. Jeanine launched dozens of new products such as the Amazon AppFlow integration platform, AWS Audit Manager risk management service, GE Centricity 360 health cloud, and Axway AMPLIFY digital experience platform. She also founded two digital health startups that enabled consumers to better manage their health. Jeanine is a developer and she started coding as a 9th grade intern at the Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) where she used the early draft of the HTML specification to build one of BNL’s first websites. Today, she mentors and coaches underrepresented founders, and is an advocate for increasing diversity and inclusion in startup investments. Jeanine graduated from Dowling College with a bachelor's degree in computer science and an MBA in general management from Adelphi University.
