VP Product Management, Pixel
Brian is Vice President of Product Management for Pixel phones and accessories. He joined Google in 2002 as Google’s first Associate Product Manager – a program he now leads. His first project was to build and launch Gmail, working with that team until late 2004. In 2005, he spent six months in Zurich establishing a local office, then returned to Mountain View to join the team that would build Chrome. After eight years, he transitioned to Android to oversee product management. In 2017, Brian moved to the newly-formed Hardware team (now Devices and Services PA) building Pixel phones, where he currently heads the business and product teams. Brian grew up outside of Chicago and moved to the Bay Area in 1998 to attend Stanford University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in symbolic systems and a Master of Arts in psychology in 2002.
