This year's event will be broadcast in front of a limited live audience, and is completely free and open to everyone virtually. Please plan to tune in online!
One of the exciting things about a digital I/O experience is the opportunity to reach a global audience. Content will be provided on demand and in different languages to serve everyone. Some translated content such as captioned videos may be available shortly after the event. Check out what your local developer community is offering as well.
This year Google I/O is free of cost for everyone. Registration will be available in March, 2022 - check back on this website for more details.
Register here to attend Google I/O and to receive important information via email about the digital event. Registration for Google I/O 2022 allows you to save and view content that's relevant to you. As a registrant, you can also create a developer profile to get the most out of the digital experience. By registering, you'll also get non-spammy emails to stay updated on Google I/O, developer events, and other relevant news.
You'll still be able to view sessions and keynotes, but you won't be able to save content, get recommendations, or chat in I/O Adventure.
Attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend Google I/O.
You don't! But creating a profile enables My I/O and lets you fully access I/O Adventure.
My I/O is powered by your developer profile.
My I/O is a custom panel on the event website that helps you keep track of content you're interested in and badges you earn during I/O.
Content you save to My I/O will also be saved to your developer profile dashboard so you can watch them after the event is over.
Creating a profile enables the My I/O feature and gives you the ability to chat in I/O Adventure and earn event badges.
